TOL Blogs and TOL Connect are part of Transitions Online’s New Media Project, furthering our efforts to equip reporters and writers across the former communist bloc with the skills they need and foster an open discussion of news, culture and open-society issues in our coverage areas. This effort also includes:

* expanded multimedia content at our flagship TOL site;
* partnership with the Central Asia blogging network Neweurasia;
* and locally based new media training projects in Belarus, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.
